Affiliate Disclosure
How we make money, plainly.
What affiliate links are
Some of the links on The Pause Authority are "affiliate links." That means if you click one and go on to purchase a product or service, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Those commissions are how we keep the site running.
Programs we participate in
- Amazon Associates: As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Links to products on Amazon are affiliate links.
- ShareASale and Impact Radius: We participate in these affiliate networks to partner with supplement brands and wellness products we've evaluated.
- Telehealth referral programs: We have referral relationships with Midi Health, Winona, Alloy, and Evernow. If you book care with one of these providers through our links, we may earn a referral fee.
FTC disclosure
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR, Part 255: "Guides Concerning the Use
of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising," any material connection between The Pause
Authority and a brand or service mentioned on this site is disclosed. Individual articles
containing affiliate links carry a disclosure near the top of the page, and affiliate links
on this site are marked rel="sponsored" as required by Google's webmaster guidelines.
How this actually works for you
Affiliate links don't change the price you pay. They don't change what we write. If we recommend a product, it's because we think it belongs in the recommendation — and if later evidence or our own experience changes that view, we update the page and say so rather than silently remove it.
